How can something be off and on at the same time? Off the shoulder styles are very on trend! This two-piece swimsuit has bardot-style straps, ruched and off the shoulder. The bottom echoes the ruching on the sides. You will be making this easy to sew design in all your favorite solids, prints, stripes, and combinations thereof. And you can top it off with a simple to sew cover-up made with a towel from the dollar store. (Of course, it can be made from fabric, but a small bar towel provides all the material you need with very little waste.) So easy to look fabulous at the beach or the pool! Enjoy!

• ¼ yard of two-way stretch knit fabric (this will make two)
• 20 inches of ¼-inch elastic
• ½-inch swimsuit bra closure or a small amount of hook and loop tape
• ¼-inch Steam-A-Seam Double Stick Fusible Web Tape® or other fusible web tapes
• Thread to match
• Frixion™ erasable pen

  • Bar towel or hand towel measuring at least 16 inches x 20 inches
  • 1 yard of bias tape or fold-over elastic (more if you wish to make button loops or a belt)
