Kay Carr’s ‘70s Cardigan is the second pattern in the Kay Carr Bundle. It teams nicely with Kay Carr’s ‘70s Mix & Match and Kay Carr’s ‘70s Essentials for an unlimited variety of outfits for your favorite doll. All three patterns are perfect for a totally ‘70s look.

Kay Carr’s ‘70 Cardigan is another of my signature knitting styles as it is knit from the neck down with only a little sewing for the long sleeve seams. There is only one button at the neck so that the cardigan is open in the front.

It is the open lace stitch which makes this cardigan so special! Do you remember the Midi length that was so popular in the ‘70s? Well, this cardigan comes in the Midi length as well as a long version. The Midi is perfect over the Hot Pants from the Kay Carr’s ‘70s Essentials.

The long version of Kay Carr’s ‘70s Cardigan will fit perfectly into any dolls wardrobe. Try it with the Mini Dress from Kay Carr’s ‘70s Essentials for a special occasion. It is sure to draw attention!

Recommended Yarns: Any Size 3 yarn such as Sirdar® Snuggly™ DK, Bernat® Softee®, Baby, Loops & Thread® Kai™, Hayfield® Baby Sparlke™

-approximately 1.5 oz. (43 gm) of yarn for the long cardigan
-approximately 1.9 oz. (55 gm) of yarn for the Midi cardigan
-size 6 US (4 mm) straight needles
-size 6 US (4 mm) circular needles (optional)
-1 small button
-4 stitch markers
-Row counter (optional)
-yarn needle
-needle and thread
