Joni s Uptown Dress is the Flossie Potter version of a vintage 1950s dress pattern for girls.
The bodice has two front and back darts, a round collar, and 3 4 sleeves with cuffs (and Flossie has thought out of the box to discover an easy method to make the cuffs and collar for these smaller dolls!).
The cuffs are in a permanent fold and have a v-cut on the outside that exposes two decorative buttons. A decorative vertical placket and three decorative buttons adorn one side of the full skirt, and it has a stripe motif in two directions to add interest. The pattern also comes with a BONUS petticoat!
This 22-page PDF sewing pattern includes step-by-step instructions with full-color photo illustrations, 35 pages of summary instructions (to save on printer ink!), and 4 pages of full-size pattern pieces.
This pattern is designed to fit 14.5 dolls such as WellieWishers™. It is also available for 18 dolls such as American Girl®.

5 1 4 lingerie elastic (1 2 wide)
20 of lace trim (1 2 wide)
Three 7 16 decorative buttons
Four to Eight 1 4 decorative buttons (2 buttons cuff, 4 optional buttons on back)
1 4 yd single fold bias tape
