Make a 1970 s style outfit with upcycled lightweight denim!

This groovy outfit includes a reversible halter top and a hip-hugger denim skirt.

The top has a hook and loop closure at the neck and a lower back tie band. 

The skirt has contrasting front and back inserts to add flare to the bottom of the skirt.  It also features a front fly with button closure and has optional rivets to make it more realistic.

This PDF sewing pattern from J Lyn Boutique is designed to fit 18 dolls such as American Girl®.  Pattern includes clear, step by step written directions and photos for each step.

• ⅓ yd lightweight denim material (or upcycle a pair of old jeans)
• Fat quarter for skirt inserts, waistband lining, halter top lining and band
• Small piece of ½” hook and loop tape
• 17mm or smaller jeans button
• 9 – 5mm rivets (optional)
• Denim thread (recommended)
• Denim needle (recommended)
• Thread
• Sewing needle
