Welcome to 50s Scalloped Delight, a 1950s inspired dress by Dolly Wears. This scalloped dress reflects the beauty of those timeless dresses that were worn in the 50s. Now your favorite 18’’ doll can wear this timeless dress as well. This dress features contrasting Scallops on the Bodice and Skirt. With either hook and loop tape with buttons for closure or snaps with buttons that go down the front of the dress. There is a Net Underskirt sewn into the Skirt to give it the full 50s look.
This PDF pattern is designed to fit 18 dolls such as American Girl® and Our Generation®.
Recommended Supplies: Solid color cotton with a contrasting print for the Scallops.
Supplies Needed:
- ½ Yard of a solid cotton fabric
- ⅓ Yard of a contrasting cotton print
- Matching thread for both fabrics
- Hook and loop tape OR five snaps
- Five ½’’ buttons
